Good and Bad News

I try to be a pretty positive person but I am going to give you the bad news first. I don't think I am going to make it to 20lbs by July 1st. I weighed the other day and I was at 137.7 and we only have a few days left. I am pretty upset and blame my lack of focus on my goal.

The good news is that we decided to go ahead and book the birthday trip and I am going to continue to work on my weight loss! This trip has been a huge motivator for me and I have been noticing changes in my body that I am really excited about.

Exercise!

It has been waaaay to long since I posted. It's mostly been because I have not been doing that well. I have been at home a lot and when I am at home, I feel like I can have whatever I want to eat. We are back out on the road and I am doing much better. I have also started exercising with some friends of mine. I know that it will make a huge difference. I am going to try to to weigh in the next day or so because it is getting to the final countdown!

Compliments!

I got 3 compliments yesterday on how good I was looking. Now mind you, it was my mom, my sister and my husband but it still made me feel really great. It also makes me realize that all the sacrifices that I am making are worth the effort! Yea!!!

First Month Weigh In-Thank you Budlight Select 55!

Ok, so I am really late posting this but I weighed in on May 1. I weighed 143! Down 8.1 pounds for the first month! I was so proud of myself. I had been doing really well keeping within my points range and I attribute a lot of that to Budlight Select 55. It is the new Budlight with only 55 calories per bottle. That make each bottle only one point instead of two. Now how can it only have 55 calories you ask? It is because it basically has no alcohol in it! It is below 3.2 beer and they can't even sell it in liquor stores. I don't care though because it satisfies my "relax at the end of the day drink fix" I can't wait to see how much I have lost by month 2!

Adding Exercise

I have been walking at a very brisk pace for an hour both yesterday and today with my mom and my sister. I would like to start doing some other exercises too. I know that it will really help the pounds go down more quickly. I also need to hurry up and post some "before pics!"

Weigh In

I did my first official weigh in today. We have been really busy getting everything ready to leave town so I didn't get a chance until today. I was not expecting much. I have been eating better but not exercising yet. I got on the scale and couldn't believe what I saw. I actually weighed 3 times to make sure that it wasn't a mistake. I weighed in at 145.5! That is down 5.6 pounds. I am so excited and encouraged. Only 14.4 pounds to my goal of 20 pounds. And from there, who knows?!
